Password Reset
If you’ve forgotten your password or need to change it, follow the steps below to regain access to your account.
How to reset your password
Step 1: Go to the forgot password page
Visit the forgot password page, or click Forgot password? on the login screen.
Step 2: Enter your email
Enter the email address associated with your M2tric account.
Step 3: Send the reset link
Click Send reset link.
Step 4: Check your inbox
Check your inbox for an email from M2tric with a password reset link.
Step 5: Click the reset link
Click the link in the email. You’ll be taken to a page where you can set a new password.
Step 6: Set a new password
Enter your new password and confirm it. Passwords must be at least 8 characters long.
Step 7: Sign in
Click Reset password. You’ll be redirected to the login page to sign in with your new password.
Troubleshooting
Didn’t receive the email? Check your spam or junk folder. The email is sent from our authentication service and may take a minute to arrive. If it still doesn’t appear, try requesting a new reset link.
Reset link expired? Password reset links are valid for a limited time. If your link has expired, return to the forgot password page and request a new one.
“Invalid or expired reset link” error? This means the link has already been used or has expired. Request a new reset link to try again.
Passwords don’t match? Make sure you enter the same password in both the New Password and Confirm Password fields.
Mobile app users
Password reset is handled through the web app. After resetting your password, you can log in to the M2tric mobile app using your new credentials. If you have biometric login enabled, you may be prompted to re-authenticate after a password change.
